In 2007, our Fire Police was formed.  We are there for the safety of the general public, the firefighters, the fire apparatus and equipment on scene, and crowd control.     So, whether it be for protection, directing traffic, help at a function such as a parade, or whatever the case may be, the fire police are there primarily for everyone's safety.  They are sworn to uphold the law and to perform whatever duties they are called upon to do.
